Ugh, I just love Christmas. Gifts, christmas cookies, christmas morning breakfast, being with family. Christmas has to be probably my favorite holiday.

Today isn’t much of a post, I’ll be so busy today with family, cooking, and that’s what this day is really meant for.

I will be on a tiny blog vacation for a week, but I’ll be back on the 31st to give my December wrap-up. I plan on working on my giant yearly wrap-up during this next week and getting that to you guys in early January.

Upcoming Book To Movie Adaptations In 2020 | Blogmas/Bookmas 2019

To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before 2 (Netflix) Expected Date: February 12, 2020

Although I didn’t really care for the book series, I loved the first movie. I feel like this is just going to be one of those books that are just better as a movie than they were in book form. I’m excited for this one to come out for sure!

Fatherhood (Based on the book Two Kisses for Maddy: A Memoir of Loss and Love): April 3, 2020

I have never read this book either, as I’m 1) not into memoirs and 2) not into crying, but I do love Kevin Hart, and I see he’s really taking his acting career a little more seriously, so I will definitely be checking this one out.

Peter Rabbit 2: April 3, 2020

I don’t remember if I saw the first one, I think I may have and it was cute. These Peter Rabbit books were some of my favorites growing up as a kid, and I remember I always had to be the first one in line at the library with them in my hand, or else they would probably be checked out already.

Artemis Fowl (Disney): August 9, 2020

I have never read this book (is it a series????), but I do love Disney, so I may not read the book, but I might check out the movie.

Little Fires Everywhere: 2020

I have not read this book, but I have heard some pretty amazing things about it, so I am ready for this to be a movie to pressure me into reading the book.

China Rich Girlfriend: 2020 (Ehh?)

I have not read this series, and I feel like it is right up my alley and I NEED TO READ IT. The first book is on my tbr, so I would definitely like to pick that up at some point in 2020. This is a maybe that it will come out next year, but I really hope it does.

2019 Reading Goals Update: How Did I Do?

Hello everyone! Today was a fun post for me because I got to look back on a post I did back in January with my 2019 goals, and now I’m going to share with you how I did. Click here for the original post. I know I did pretty okay with my goals, but I didn’t do all of them perfectly or really follow through 100% with every single one, so let’s just get into it and see how we did.

(1) Goodreads Challenge of 40 books

I actually did this one! And even with a few books to spare.

(2) Reading 50 pages per day and/or an hour of audiobook

Ehh, I mean I did this for the most part, but I think it’s really impossible for someone like me to read every single day. I want to try and keep this goal for next year, but it is not an easy goal to keep.

(3) Read the Harry Potter series

Ehh, I kind of did this but not really. I read the first 4 books in February, and then didn’t pick up book 5 after the end of that month. I think I will have to try and finish the series for sometime in 2020.

(4) Stay on top of Library Book Due Dates

I did this! I tracked when they were do and renewed if I couldn’t really get to the Library in time.

(5) Reading Journal Upkeep

I did a lot better with this then I thought, but towards September-ish I wasn’t updating it as frequently as I would’ve liked. I guess we will have to do better with it in 2020.

How did you guys do with your own 2019 goals? Let me know in the comments!
